Imagine It. Build It. Improve It!
Dream It, Build It™ gives children a hands-on place to imagine a solution, build a prototype, test it and improve it together. Each child can contribute ideas while the group discovers what happens when a design meets a real challenge.
Children identify a design goal, sketch an idea, build a model with air-dry clay and consider how their creation could be improved. Projects may include structures, inventions, functional objects or imaginative creations based on the workshop challenge.
Why it matters
Children need opportunities to solve problems through trial and improvement. When a bridge needs strengthening or a marble takes an unexpected turn, the next step is to observe, adjust and try again, not give up, understanding that an unsuccessful first attempt can be part of learning.

The project is chosen for the group and session; these are examples, not four projects included in one workshop. Guided building and testing encourage resilience, teamwork and spatial reasoning.
Recommended ages: 5–12. Duration: approximately 60–90 minutes. Five- or ten-week series may be discussed separately. Tools and materials are selected for the age group and used with appropriate supervision. Our team brings supplies; they are not shipped.
Challenges are adjusted to meet the developmental level of each group.

Regular workshop registration is $25 per student. Specialty materials may change a custom-event quote. Custom-requested private workshops and partnerships require at least ten participants, with details confirmed before booking. Mobile workshops are available within 25 miles of 85138, subject to availability. Request a date and project quote; an inquiry does not reserve a date.
